Will anyone be attending the Orchid show at Longwood Gardens on March 28th? Also, there is an Orchid show at N.Y. Botanical Gardens from Feb. 28th till April12th.

Pete are you interested in a society field trip? I would consider it. Anyone else?

Hi, Maria,

Please keep me informed on progress about this bus trip idea. Manhattan OS will not be running their own trip, perhaps if enough of our members are interested your bus could make a stop in the city to pick them up? Of course by "enough" I mean if it can make a difference filling up the bus.

Maria -

Your group would really enjoy our beautiful orchid display, as well as the sale, tours, and talks.

The group rates would apply to your group as long as you have a minimum of 15 people in your group. If you have 16 people, you would receive a complimentary admission for your group leader. If you arrive by bus, your coach driver would also receive a complimentary admission.

If your group would like to dine at Longwood, we have a very nice self service cafeteria that serves lunch from 11:00 until 4:00 pm. Your group may buy food a la carte, with a selection from soup, salads and sandwiches to entrée platters and tasty desserts.

Longwood will be open until 6:00 pm that day.

Let us know if you have further questions or would like to set up a reservation. We do not require a deposit and accept one payment for your group on the day of your visit.

Regards,

Judy
